Different products work for different people, so it is important to find a skincare routine that works well for you. I have suffered from mild acne and have tried copious amounts of skincare products just to make my face look decent. I had to wait a few months before finding the right product. At first, I went to Kate Somerville for advice because I heard from my sister that they have worked wonders.

It was not until I used dermatology-recommended cleansers that I began my journey with healing and brightening dots. From there, I noticed an improvement in my skin. I also used pore treatment strips for my nose for blackheads. I believe in using patches because they have helped me with my acne.

Below I rated products I have tried on a scale of one-to-five stars with five being the best.

Peace Out (Oil-Absorbing Pore Treatment Strips): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Oil-Absorbing Pore Treatment Strips have given me a new chance to feel good about myself. According to Sephora’s website, they are, “. . . formulated with new, clean hydrocolloid polymer technology and pore-refining ingredients to minimize the appearance of pores.” I fell in love with these strips because of how effectively they did their job.

Peace Out (Micro needling Dark Spot Brightening Dots): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a great product if you are looking to get rid of hyperpigmentation. According to Sephora experts, they have, “. . . niacinamide and tranexamic-infused microneedles to fade the look of post-breakout dark spots and discolorations.” I was suffering a bit from scabs that were not going away because I kept touching them. Sooner or later, I figured that touching my face is not exactly the best idea if I am trying to get rid of my acne. I decided to let the patches and scabs on my face heal. After that, I started using the micro-needling dark spots. I have never had such a great outcome.

Peace Out (Salicylic Acid Acne Healing Dots): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

These have worked great for me because they reduced my blocked pores, especially the ones that are hard to get with a facial extractor. According to Sephora, the healing dots are an, “. . . over-the-counter acne formula that combines clean hydrocolloid polymer technology and actives to minimize the look of breakouts overnight.” As complex as this formula sounds, it works great for breakouts. This is my go-to treatment, especially during the tough times when I am breaking out consistently for weeks.

I am happy to say that washing my face with CeraVe cleanser and following that with a nighttime facial lotion really does work for my skin. After that, I put Cetaphil’s Healthy Radiance on for the day. Instead of using all expensive products, I simply went to CVS to get the basics. I also use the dots and strips from Sephora, and it has been an awesome experience. I cannot stress using them enough!
